YOU BRAVE THE CONDITIONS ABOVE OR BELOW GROUND
WE DO WHAT IT TAKES TO MAKE SURE YOU DO, COMFORTABLY PROTECTED

The mining sector provides minerals and metals for every other sector of our economy, including aerospace, defense, telecommunications, computing and a range of clean technologies such as solar panels and electric car batteries. The valuable work of miners and other tradespeople involved in mining is not without risk.

  • Workers are at risk of injury or even death from the hazards associated with different vehicles and rolling stock. Whether working in open-cast mines in very low-light conditions, or in underground mines, it's important to be adequately protected by wearing brightly-colored clothing with reflective strips to limit the risks.
  • There are many other hazards associated with the mining environment. Some work methods, such as shotcreting, involve risks of skin and eye irritation, and can even lead to chemical burns. In other operations, workers may also be exposed to oils, gases or flames. Some mines are also very wet or very cold.

Wearing the right work clothing not only reduces the risk of injury, it also ensures comfort at work. Natpro presents a range of waterproof garments combining robustness, flame retardancy and maximum protection against chemical penetration. These garments can be fitted with reflective strips to meet CSA-Z96 standards, and can withstand extreme cold (-40 degrees Celsius). In short, everything you need to be adequately protected in these high-risk environments.
